The moon must be a bunch of blocks in the SPAAAAAACE, not a single one.

And so, all those blocks would look like a pixelated sphere from far away.

Anything in Minecraft looks less blocky from far away. The moon must be no exception.

But once we are able to get to the moon, we'll see the blocky blocks there.

The only reason I came back to Minecraft is because of the changes. I am glad its slowly getting away from the squarish look. Its about time. Hopefully this can look more toward WURM. Then it will definitely be better then WURM Online. Finally !

I'm sure there is some sort of compromise that can occur. I like the square moon, but I also like the moon phases. Maybe just make the moon and sun bigger or "farther away" and instead a 1x1 block have a 6x6 block that you could keep squarish, but also somewhat round. (Probably doesn't make any sense)

The square moon is one of minecraft's oldest quirky jokes. Some things can be cool without the best graphics! (like minecraft itself!)

44% on round? Ohh no!!! :O It can't be round. If you make it round then you can just make everything else round too.

I like the idea of having optional graphics.

think of a giant sphere made in minecraft. It's made of a bunch of cube blocks. eh? now look at that sphere from a great distance. it appears round. it would just make more sense if the moon was round bc of the perspective.

Square moon can still have phases, you guys. In fact, they would be even more charming if done properly, because they'd be angled.

Maybe have the other moon appear on certain nights or in a different realm.

Round, of course. And depending on the phases of the moon, mobs would be stronger...
Imagine : no moon, very dark night and very strong mobs... brrr!
You stay home.
