Posted by xerca 1 minute ago. Square moon and sun is one of the original things that resembles the general theme of the minecraft world, squareness. Round things don't belong in this world and making those round is like the same thing as making the player's head sphere. It just doesn't suit! I like the idea of moon phases but I'm sure they can be as well made with the original square moon.
