 From Sponky on March 2, 2010 at 12:45 am. I think the health should be returned to 1.04. The only thing I think Naughty Dog should have done is made heads shots do more damage. One bullet less to kill someone almost makes headshots obselete. Two shots less might just please everyone because it'll be easier to get kills. Another thing, instead of trying to balance the weapons (mainly the Hammer and RPG) by lowering health, why not just get rid of Launch Man and Rocket Man? Or, how about lowering the amount of extra ammunition with these boosters? Instead 6 extra shots with the Hammer, how about two? With Rocket Man, how about one extra missle? This way you dont get people complaining and abusing these two boosters. The sniper rifle, man, one shot kills for this thing is ridiculous. I once shot a guy in the knee and he died. I think Naughty Dog might feel this weapon wasn't as used as much as they wanted before the update. This weapon needs to go back to two shots. How about making the rate of fire faster or have less recoil to make people want to use it more? I feel like the biggest problem with the game was the grenades. The blast radius needs to be lowered or the amount of time it takes to go off should be longer. From Lucas on February 27, 2010 at 10:29 pm. Just would like to say I miss 1.04 a lot too guys, it was truly a unique experience. I personally hate CoD, but now it feels like I'm playing a 3rd person shooter version of it. The FAL is overpowered, and the old sniper actually took skill. I was shocked when I killed someone in the foot with the sniper. Please give us back 1.04 or give 1.05 players their own playlist. The people that like 1.05 all seem to say it took them a whole AK clip to kill someone, well this is why; you're just a really bad shot! Us skilled players that hate 1.05 actually took the time and effort to "aim" at you before firing, that's why we always won. Now aiming isn't even necessary, you could just fire with your eyes closed and get a kill seeing as cover is obsolete. I've played Uncharted 2 once since 1.05 came out, as it stands; it's dead to me. The game I've played since September 15th (pre-order beta) is no more, and instead we have third person Modern Warfare. I'd give MAG a go but the sound effects are so awful I just can't bring myself to take it seriously. Anyone know if Killzone 2 is still any good? Or has the user base dwindled to nothing?
