The kid wore the shirt to school. School is about learning, not self-expression.
The solution: uniforms. Kids can wear whatever clothes they want outside of school

The school would not have suspended the boy if he had been wearing a shirt that was demeaning of McCain. Wake up America - the brown shirts are coming.

The shirt is offensive and dishonest. Free speech cannot be limited because it is offensive, and dishonesty in politics is par for the course. My t-shirt says: McCain 2008: The Manchurian Candidate.

"Inflammatory" in this story really means "I disagree." The author doesn't like the boy's opinion and wants to stifle it, plain and simple.
