IP Logged, 162.127.6.x Report Abuse My son got me interested in Carl Deuker's books. He would read them in a day and always told me I had to try one. Now I can't put one down once I started it. Although Heart of a Champion is probably my favorite, the others aren't far behind. I use them to motivate my high school students to read. I am actually from the Seattle area in which he talks so much about, and I've been to most places he does talk about.
