My son got me interested in Carl Deuker's books. He would read them in a day and always told me I had to try one. Now I can't put one down once I started it. Although Heart of a Champion is probably my favorite, the others aren't far behind. I use them to motivate my high school students to read. I have a very reluctant reader I now have hooked on these books. I can hardly wait for the next one!!!
