Licences are not interchangeable I think between PC and Mac and Linux is generally more configurable and more stable than either. I would get CS5 prod Prem in a flash. If it were up to me, I'd make Adobe make the CS5 Suite for Red Hat/Fedora because using Alien Debian/Ubuntu users can port the application themselves. considering Autodesk already releases their products for Red Hat/Fedora this would be an ideal solution. It would be wonderful to use Linux exclusively. Posted by martin mcshane on November 10, 2010 at 4:34 pm. hell yes.. Gimnp is shit Posted by Munkeyboy on October 19, 2010 at 10:15 pm. I would absolutely pay full price for CS5 on linux. I do most of my work in Ubuntu with Inkscape and an old version of Fireworks MX running on wine. I even have a MAC with CS4, but barely boot it up unless I have serious photoshop work to do (haven't moved it over to wine yet). It's not that I don't like CS4, its that I don't like MAC as much as Ubuntu... windows even less. Posted by Michael W. on September 23, 2010 at 11:09 pm. I agree with everyone, If Adobe would create versions for unix systems, I'd finally get rid of my invalid version of Windows 7. But I will be honest with myself and everyone else, what sucks is Adobe relizes they would loose a good portion of their profits and a large increase in pirated software. Just ask your self, if Adobe CS5 came out for linux, would you buy the software or download a torrent, not that we don't already do that. hehehe Posted by Michael W. in reply to Michael W. on September 23, 2010 at 11:13 pm. //this is a correction for the above comment. for: " Adobe relizes they would loose a good portion of their profits and a large increase in pirated software." replace: "Adobe relizes they would loose a good portion of their profits and gain a large increase in pirated software." -thankyou Page: 1 2 3 4 Add a Comment |
