THank you for providing such an amazing play!!! Posted by Joanna Cousins on October 23, 2011 at 1:32 pm. I saw this play at school in 1991 it changed me... Firstly I skipped class for the first time ever to watch it again, secondly I wrote my first essay in English that my teacher was amazed by and most importantly I have never or will ever drink n drive. This play touched me n I would love to see it again. If it ever tours please let me know... Truly I can still remember the haunting sound of "we've only just begun" at the crash and then The Smiths "oh mother I can feel the soil falling over my head" Posted by Mark Wheeller in reply to Joanna Cousins on October 29, 2011 at 4:27 pm. Thajks Joanna... what a lovely comment. Thanks for taking the time to write it! Mark it is still touring... but only in schools. It has a Facebook page now so do please "like" Posted by Bethany Pullen on January 13, 2011 at 8:40 am. I am playing the part of Judy from "too much punch for Judy" do you have any tips? Posted by fay davies in reply to Bethany Pullen on June 22, 2011 at 3:16 am. I played the part of judy many many moons ago, its one of the best parts an actress could possiby get !!!! It causes for every emotion to be used and CONTROLED for it to work and not come across as fake or contrived...enjoy the play (you must be good as not many people get cast as judy x) Posted by dont know in reply to Bethany Pullen on June 7, 2011 at 8:16 am. Hey thanks Katie... really good to hear that! Posted by e on September 29, 2010 at 11:17 am. Posted by Gail Denver on July 4, 2010 at 10:09 pm. As a publisher I am delighted to be promoting Mark's wonderful scripts - he is such a talent and we love the idea that we are able to make his work accessible to drama students looking for that edge in their productions. Posted by Mark Wheeller in reply to lisa on June 17, 2010 at 1:39 pm. Hey fab Lisa!!! Posted by Deirdre Daly on June 13, 2010 at 1:36 pm. Hi Mark - I loved 'Too Much Punch' -it had such an impact on me whan I saw it performed by a TIE company in front of year 9/10/11 students. Are any of your plays suitable for primary aged children to perform? - I need something for my Summer School Posted by Mark Wheeller in reply to Deirdre Daly on June 13, 2010 at 4:48 pm. Yes. Wacky Soap... treat is as a Python thing rather than a panto. Probably best for Juniors. Theer's music too. Blackout... but it's more a trad musical. Very moving tho. Chicken Jamie in the Land of Dinnersphere King Arthur but it's VERY short... and a sung through Joseph style musical. Possibly Most absurd Xmas Musical... but not truly a summer project. Nice to hear from you... thanks for doing the poll!( Posted by Mark Wheeller on June 10, 2010 at 3:17 pm. Really pleased to see Kill Jill and Sequinned faring so well in this!!! Posted by Rachel Allaway on June 10, 2010 at 2:53 pm. Every one I have used has been brilliant and the kids have loved it...I love Sequinned Suits, it was so much fun to do and we had a fantastic multi media set (built by my hubby) Posted by Mark Wheeller in reply to Rachel Allaway on June 10, 2010 at 3:19 pm. Thanks Rachel. Have you got any pictures you can post to the Sequinned Posted by Kerry on June 10, 2010 at 11:49 am. I find them so easy to produce/direct and raise awareness of issues. I have loved everyone of them I've used. I teach in an all boys school and would love more scripts that either are neutral gender or for all boys- anything in the pipeline? Page: 1 2 Add a Comment |
