We have been unschooling since the kids' birth. It is the perfect fit for us. I knew we would be homeschooling before they were born. As the daughter of a veteran public school teacher and a product of the public school system myself, I knew full well the limitations of a government-run system. It DOES NOT remotely serve the best interest of children. Public school's purpose is to create workers -drones - sheep. I did not want my children turned into sheep!!!!!!
