get my first trophy in SSHD (yes, I know, I'm pathetic) and after realising
that tonite was not going to give me my first trophy, I started Battlefield:
Bad Company directly from in-game-XMB. Everything went well until I resumed my
Singleplayer campaign, were the PS3 just hung on the loading screen. I stopped
the system with the PS button and instead of stopping it did the 3 beep thing
when something hangs and proceeded to reboot. Then came the nasty message:
Cannot find correct harddisk or some like that. Real men don't take backups
and I haven't in ages, so this was terrible. Luckily the PS3 came up after a
button reboot. The fan was going bonkers after SSHD so maybe the PS3 just

IP Logged, 76.218.78.x Report Abuse I too have had a similar problem only I was on my media server when it hung so I got up and held the Power button down and it beeped 3 times and then shut down. I then restarted it and it gave me that same exact message "Cannot Find Correct Hardisk" it has done this to me several times. I have a Western Digital 2.5" 320GB Scorpio HD installed. Luckly I was able to hold down the power button again and it started up fine everytime but now I am starting to get worried.  It was originally a U.S. 60GB PS3. If this happens again I plan to call Sony on it.

I just blindly exit the game, it shows the main menu fine, I restart my ps3 and it works. Other than that no I've been keeping myself busy with SSHD. From Davsot on July 7, 2008 at 2:07 am.
