i had a problem today infact, its been working sweet for nearly a week now (ok.. 5 days), it was when i powered on my ps3... i turned it on and i heard some of the "chime"/bootsound, like first second or so and then it was completely quiet, non of the lights where flashing (hdd/ethernet), i must admit ...i panic'd and turned the ps3 off with the main power switch on the back. 30 secs later when i powered it back on everything went ok. check out my website: http://amigaguru.kicks-ass.net .

from 2.36 and up - i can also confirm 2 glitch problems (hope SCE see's this) 1.Browsing for a longer period will end up in a free memory issue , pictures won't be loaded etc, if i then join Playstation store from XMB it shows broken images all over the place, a power down solves it. second problem. 2. Using headsets ingame now will go into network lag and headsets will just stop responding (like its beeing blocked out). to me it seems like a memory hole (someone forgot to close a function before compiling). For reference, before 2.36 i didn't have theese problems at all and i play with the same people as always and browse the same sites, the problem is still in 2.40 so it seems someone forgot to repair some older bugs, now...what if someone didnt power off their PS3s before updating to 2.40? , that sounds really bad if the memory was full etc.. anyway speculations only but i hope someone will let SCE know about the problems.

Yes, I had problems and had to de-update or whatever. 2%148
I actually didn't download the update -- too slow or didn't feel like it. 19%1,494
                          I don't have a PS3 and thus put my vote here. 2%165

I'm facing some stuttering/choppy animation issues during start-up if a USB HDD is plugged in. Without the HDD or on a quick restart, it seems to work fine.

the media server issue was presented in 2.32, did you not update to 2.36 and then 2.40 ? , sounds like you skipped one as this has been a problem for a while (i ain't using it myself but i have seen on the forums that alot of people have this problem)

Buzz! does not find the buzzers anymore. Have to remove and reinsert the dongle every time for it to work.

on the USB dongle there is a button, press it as soon as the game has loaded past the "white menu with instructions how to use the wireless ones" , that button is a sync button, press it and then press power on the buzzers. works great here and besides update 2.40 came before the game was released (for me anyway). 2.40 update was at wednesday 07:30 and buzz became available in the shops here at 10:00 the very same day and as i said its just a sync issue, totally normal with anything wireless but as soon as you have sync'd them then it will work even after you remove the usb dongle etc. good luck.
