Any troubles with firmware 2.40?
I have been trouble-free.
A few minor hiccups, but it's fine.
Yes, I had problems and had to de-update or whatever.
I actually didn't download the update -- too slow or didn't feel like it.
I don't have a PS3 and thus put my vote here.
My opinion is different. I am a rebel.

I've updated to 2.40 and started having connection problems, got dropped from BF:BC 5 time in a row. Some would say that its a problem with the game, but I did not do it until I updated.

I downloaded the 2.40 update at 12:05 eastern time, and i just have to say i've had absolutely no problems... I play everyday, and i even have a few trophies... not one problem... my in game xmb works as fast in game as it does normally.... and again i must say not one single solitary problem.. sorry haters-----KingGreenz

    Updated my PS3 to 2.4, only prob I have is that every time I put a music CD it freezes. Hope they fix that in 2.41

i got the latest update but it didnt work and i have no trophys thing i cant send messages in game

No problems 60 gig model, downloaded Via usbdrive, xmb menu while in games is slightly sluggish, but not to the point of annoyance, just a millisecond.
