If you compare the speeches of all the speakers I'd give the nod to the Republicans, with the exception of the Presidential acceptance speeches....Hussein may not stand for a damned thing but he "shore do talk purty!"

Nice styroform Greek columns though at the DNC, but not much more

Seems pretty obvious. The DNC was pomp and flash of ego, as if they where introducing a king or some third world dictator. All the speeches where I, I, I or how the US sucks.

The RNC was uplifting, modest, and humble. It was all about WE.

The Democratic convention had no sizzle. Yes, Obama "came down from the mount" but that was so ridiculous as to be countrproductive. Sarah Palin is the story of this election year.

Sarah Palin's foreign policy experience from "living near Russia" and "commanding" the state national guard.

Sarah Palin's being experienced while the same pundits said the governor of Virginia was inexperienced despite his being mayor of a city 200,000 in size and serving twice as long a governor.

Sarah Palin's "decision" ,as she calls it, she and her daughter made that she would deny to every other pregnant American teen.
    Sarah Palin's affair.

    Indeed, all about Sarah Palin.

I DID watch both. I just can't stand the idea of my taxes going higher and our national defense led by a rank amateur.

I agree, which is why I'm voting for Obama, who will only raise taxes for corporations, and because if McCain dies, we will indeed have a rank amateur. I agree with you 100%.

Are you not aware that corporations will simply pass that cost on to the consumer?! Surely you're joking.

Corporations employ people. At some point, if it is no longer profitable to remain in business, corporations shut down. When their workers are no longer employed, then who will you tax? Corporations create jobs, government only redistributes income.
