I went back to Factcheck and some of the sources are no longer working. Also found it very hard to maneuver through their support links to get any information. I have failed to retrieve more info from them. I like spending time here with people who care about their country. Willing to share their thoughts and help find information and pass it on to others. The 69 people at the present time who voted no, should pack their bags and get the HE@@ out. I served my country along with my Brother and Father as well as other family members. If push comes to shove, I will again stand with my fellow true Americans and defend the Constitution against all enemies Foreign and especially DOMESTIC.

This is off subject, but I just got to mention it because of your "name". Don't it just drive you nuts when you are watching a show and the gunner can't seem to ever hit the broad side of a barn? Want to mention again that the birth certificate issue is miss-direction and a smoke screen. The FACT that daddy was NOT a US citizen violates the natural born citizen requirement and is irrefutable common knowledge.

I hale from the UH-1H, along with OH-58 and I will date myself, an OH-6 observer. Now that he is in office we also need to watch his income under Article 2, Clause 7 of the Constitution: Salary; the President shall, at stated times, receive for his services, a compensation, which shall neither be increased nor diminished during the period for which he shall have been elected, and he shall not receive within that period any other emolument from the united state, or any of them. In other words the Presidents salary is currently $400,000 a year and must be constant during his term and he cannot receive other compensation from the federal or a state government. Presumably, this also applies to the Vice President.

IP Logged, 69.115.12.x Report Abuse I just read the latest post of 1/30/09 under A Bald Faced Lie/Obama's Lies and I am stunned that the only thing his lawyers have presented to the court, with regards to the lawsuits regarding his birth certificate, are mentions of websites where they can look up what he has online???! Are you kidding me?? Or what is posted in a newspaper?? And then they cleverly word that Hawaiian officials have his birth certificate and have verified it. Verified it for what?? You mean to tell me no one, through all the legal proceedings has requested to actually SEE this birth certificate??!!! There must be some way to fight for the right to actually make sure that the court demands to see his birth certificate and not just take his word for it. They don't want to know. That's the simple, plain as the nose on your face, truth. This is such a HOT POTATO no one wants to handle it...and so far no one is. I lived in Iran in the 50's and I always wondered why there was a permanent portrait of the Shah plastered to the wall in our living room with a frame around it. It could not be removed. I now know why. The homes in North Korea also have the same thing. God help us.
