Can't argue with Cotton Fitzsimmons' long-term impact (from early '70s to early '00s) on the state's original major pro franchise. Coach, executive, broadcaster, personality... Cotton did it all. In all likelihood, you'll be very unlikely to ever see a leading votegetter who played, coached, etc. anywhere in the state other than the Valley.
