@ PJH- ho ho- snap!
If driving alone I will often listen to LBC- although quite often the authoritarian/ identity politicking PC garbage coming out of the host's mouth requires a reversion to listening to the engine noise alone. At least it keeps my mind off getting angry with the other road users...

R4 via iplayer on my phone via Bluetooth to the car speakers. That way I can choose Just a Minute when I want to laugh.

I listen to R4, but if it's something boring then I listen to talking books via aux in, though I will soon be upgrading to bluetooth, with luck.

Temporarily unable to drive from old injury, have been driven round by my daughter who plays KISS FM (what a load of rubbish). To counter this, I had a CD made with me asking, "Are we there yet?", "Is this the motorway?", "I need a wee", "Why is the sky blue?" and all the other questions she used to drive me mad with when I was driving her to her friends, dance classes, or on holiday. Oh, happy days!

- The kids whining in the back seats?
- The wife moaning in the passenger seat?

The BBC Radio Scotland phone in (9am) is good for a laugh. After 6pm on Friday night is Radio 1. Otherwise it's generally music on USB.

I've pretty much given up on Radio 4 too. I clicked on this morning and they were advocating it was a bad thing that the EU protected status for Cornish pasties was under threat. What kind of idiot you have to be to believe a product that is best made on the premises it is served should only be lawfully made in Cornwall is beyond me.

I doubt I'll tune in for a while after that.

I used to be a R4 listener in the car. No music, just the spoken word. Unfortunately the rhetoric and blatant left-wing bias coming out of the speakers nearly caused several accidents. I've now switched to Franz Zappa CDs and my life seems worth living again.

I've taken to listening to Youtube lectures by Edward Luttwak and Jordan B Peterson.
