"If Fred Thompson endorses John McCain, what impact would that have on your vote?"

I would vote for my dog before voting McCain

Hotter than Hell freezing over... I'd push for a brokered convention, to let the RINO's get their act together. Put the most conservative ticket on the dais and roll the dice. I'm still pushing the Gonzo ticket. Thompson/Hunter. It'd be Hunter/Thompson but I may have to wait for what I want. Secure (armed if necessary) border, not quite Fortress America but damn ready. Drill where there's oil (but waiting for the car that drives itself when I want it to and runs on water). Trust the people, the Constitution as written, and God Bless us all.

Looks like the Dems have this one in the bag. I say. let them have it. If America has really gone this far off to the left, let them have their freekin socialist, commie scumbag pres. Let them have their damn leftist supreme court nominees. Lets send this country back to the freekin stone ages with taxes and backwards energy policies. Let them bow down to the Goracle and suck his shriveled up ....oops, sorry, maybe went to far with that...DAMN IT NO I DID NOT. I AM NOT GOING FAR ENOUGH. Fools.

We can't afford to let the Dems have it!! Consider how their appointees to the Supreme Court would impact us...and for how long. In addition to that aspect, this country is in grave danger from Muslim extremists. We can't trust the Left to protect us. Their plan is to hold hands and "make nice" with those who would whack our heads off without batting an eye. The Dems, like McCain, will also continue to do nothing about the invasion of our borders by illegals who are milking the American public with all the handouts offered them.

Oh, just shoot me. There just aren't enough conservatives to vote for the best conservative candidate. John McCain?!! Huckleberry?!! Good Grief! If McCain is the nominee (Who woulda thunk THAT a couple months ago?!!) we'll get creamed in November. Even if "we" win.

not enough conservatives? Hmmm....the people who voted in the SC primary considered themselves conservative Republicans yet they still voted for Huckabee and McCain. I think the Republican elites have lost touch with the lives of working people.

I fully expect Fred to endorse Jackie Broyles before he would endorse John McCain.

I'd forgive Fred if he endorses McCain because that's what senators do....When you've never had executive experience, you do stuff like that..Go Mitt (then Rudy)

I still cannot figure how McCain won SC. Maybe its all the New Yorkers that have moved down to SC. Please people, even if McCain's the nominee, which I will absolutely HATE, vote for him anyway. Not voting, IS voting.

Poll Question is kind of like "if hell freezes over is global warming true?". I hope Fred does not drop out, but if he does I am positive that he would not endorse McCain. As one of the true conservatives in the race, Fred Thompson could not endorse the Psudo-Democrat McCain over any of the other Republicans in the race.
