"If Fred Thompson endorses John McCain, what impact would that have on your vote?"

It is sad that so many conservatives, or those that profess to be conservative, did not vote for the true conservative: Fred Thompson. Listen to yesterday's speech; it was all about our country, its history, and beliefs, none was about him. Perhaps, those who abandoned him and voted for someone else who professed to be conservative, but whose actions stated otherwise, will wake up before Super Tuesday, and then this question will be more about us, and who were are, and less about "the lesser of two evils". Keep going Fred!

John McCain will never be the recipient of my vote, for any office.

First of all, it's never going to happen.

And even if it did and McCain is the nominee, then it looks like I won't be using my first vote and sitting out.

I agree! Pigs will fly before Fred endorses McCain.

But my question is, is this question, and indeed the poll, even important at this juncture?

    I think not!!!!

If it's not Fred, I will skip the election for the first time ever and I never missed one since first voting in 1962.

McCain would be the Manchurian candidate. He is a nut and has a mean temper. I will sit home for the first time in my life if Fred is not the GOP nominee. I really preferred Duncan Hunter but the media and the Republicans wouldn't give him a chance.

A vote for McCain is a boost for Graham, Ted Kennedy and their ilk on immigration and amnesty.

I will not vote for John McCain under any circumstances, and if Fred endorsed him, I would lose a lot of respect for him.

I will stay home rather then vote for McCain, if he is the nominee. The only one that should be the nominee is Mitt Romney. He has integrity and brilliance. He is a financial genius and that is what is needed now in America
