Report Abuse: If Fred Thompson endorses John McCain, what impact would that have on your vote?

I've supported and donated to Fred's campaign. Although the GOP candidates, minus Ron Paul, are light years better than any Democrat, I cannot and will not support John McCain.

It pains me to say that about a fellow Naval Officer, but his actions as a Senator, have been anything but conservative. Remember McCain/Feingold(sponsored), Illegal Immigrant Amnesty(supported),and President Bush's tax cuts(voted against)?

However, if he should win the nomination, I will rally to him and vote GOP. The thought of Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama or John Edwards chills my blood at the thought of calling any of them Commander in Chief.
