Some of you remind me of my mom who used to tell me, "go ahead, cut off your nose to spite your own face." Mitt Romney is a great man. He is honest, capable and will be a very great president making us proud to be conservative republicans. It's time to stop being arrogant and stubborn. We need to come together and take pride in the battle against the liberal media who are so obviously trying to subvert Romney. It's time to get over our disappointment and prepare to fight for what is good and real. Come on people, you are better than some of this negative trash that we are reading.

Thompson voters should go 4 Romney
If Fred's supporters are true conservatives they would assess the remaining field, the looming DEMs, and come to one conclusion. As a conservative I am going to vote 4 Romney now. Any sort of a)I won't vote, or b) I'll write in Fred, or even c) I'll still vote for him on principle is sooo foolish and short sighted. The DEMs and MSM are praying "Conservatives are that dumb and divided." Fred had his chance and S. Carolina was better suited for him to do well than ANY other state aside from Tennessee. Loosing big in S. Carolina should compel a) Fred to drop out for the good of the conservative movement and b) Fred supporters to get behind Romney. I was for Fred getting in and for a while was split between Fred and Romney. The thing that finally put in the Romney camp was THE ECONOMY. We are headed into the tank economically. We need Romney at he helm. Conservatives with a brain now support Romney.

I will vote Democrat if Thompson drops out. I'd rather have a quick four years of a Carter-esque administration, and then a chance for a return to the Reagan years, than to keep bleeding the GOP this way.

Where are the true conservative voters??? Wake up, Fred is our last hope to keep the conservative world-view in the GOP...Please start working in your sphere of influence to get the message to American voters. Our party is being co-opted by RHINOS.

Fred cannot, should not, will not drop out of the race. He is the only true conservative running, and I promise you there will be thousands upon thousands of people writing his name on the ballot in the general election because none of us can stand the thought of supporting any of the others. It's the truth, not stubborness, just determination to keep what's left of the Republican party together. Personally, I'd like to see Fred start a 3rd party, people would be on that bandwagon, I guarantee.

In my opinion, the four most consistently conservative candidates in this race have been Thompson, Hunter, Tancredo and Paul. With Hunter and Tancredo already out, if Thompson drops out, my vote goes to Ron Paul. I have serious reservations with all of the others - Giuliani, Huckabee, Romney and McCain.

I, like many of you are really disappointed that Fred didnt do any better in SC, however, we just have to ban together and vote for the next closest conservative which is MittI knowI knowits difficult but look what not going to the polls in 06 brought uswe just cant sit back and steam we have to at least try to keep Obama or Hillary out of the WH, no matter how bad you think Mitt is he is infinitely better that either of those two.

    Diana,
How long do you think it is until Mitt is gone? Who are you going to support when that happens. Take a look at who is dropping off, its the conservatives. Mitt is next. I am not voting for a Rino ever again. I suspect after Mitt is gone you will begin to understand.

Romney gone? As of this date, Romney has the most votes and delegates. Romney's in this race for the long haul, so hate to disappoint you otherwise. Thompson in the debates I have watched has really gone after McCain and Huckabee, not after the others. Hmmm Romney-Thompson ticket...interesting.
