"For Fred Supporters: If Fred Thompson drops out of the race, which major candidate would you support?"

Ron Paul has the most conservative record, and he's doing well with fundraising. Hes been painted a kook kinda like goldwater was but I cant see myself voting for any of those "front running" liberals.

Judging by turnout in the primaries so far dems have been getting twice the votes so a Dem pres may be unavoidable, but I'm not going to vote for a RINO that shares thier agenda. Pauls anti Iraq fiasco stance means he's the only one that could give the dems a problem in the general, thus I will support Paul.

If Thompson drops out I can only hope that Ron Paul goes third party. I will NEVER vote for a socialist. I would rather vote for the crazy guy than any back stabbing, two-faced, lying RINO!

Remember back before Reagan, when the Republican party stood for something? Why can't I have small government AND low taxes AND a humble foreign policy?

Fred Thompson would be a good running mate with Romney, and Romney needs Thompson's endorsment to assure a win in the south.

Mitt Romney! Never McCain under any circumstance for any reason -- McCain has tried to destroy the Conservative movement. McCain is no more trust worthy than Clinton.

Yep, as a Fred Head I can never vote for McCain or Huckabee even if Fred asked me to support McCain I wouldn't do it.

I'll back Mitt if Fred drops out and hope for a Fred Thompson VP.
