Come ON you guys!!! Don't be so short sighted and stupid!!! Now that the most conservative choice is no longer viable. As CONSERVATIVES (not Republicans, guy/gal of my candidate) we must move on to the next most conservative choice that is still viable to WIN!! and beat HRC, Obama, and/or McLame. That person is Romney. This sort of damn the torpedos stupidity is what gave us 8 years of Bill Clinton (Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Steven Breyer on Sup. Ct.). Back when 19% of right wing conservatives voted for Ross Perot over H.W. Bush. It was conservatives short sighted nihilism at the time and failure to rally around the candidate who had the best chance of winning (despite his short comings that was H.W. Bush) and we thus got Bill Clinton. If you so called conservatives are truely so stupid that you would not vote or vote for someone who has no chance of winning you are helping thrust the sword into the heart of America and values conservatives care about.

I'll be voting for Fred Thompson in November no matter what.

The others are completely unacceptable.

I want a FULL RANGE conservative, and one who doesn't lie like a rug like Romney.

I want Thompson over:
1) McCain:

2)Huckabee:

Other than that, I like Guilliani. He is what you see and he will protect America. Not take any Shlt from foreign leaders or congress.

And with a Thompson VP, be more conservative

None of the above. I'd sit this one out, primary and general. Sorry to be such a spoilsport, but if a plurality of Republicans don't see Fred as the best choice, I'm not sure I want to call myself a Republican.

I've been voting for the lesser of two evils for twenty years since President Reagan, hoping the nation would move toward the right. In twenty years it not only hasn't moved to the right, it has moved to the point that open borders, three nation security agreements that see internal borders relaxed, and an FTAA as well as a UA very much to be considered viable.

Am I going to stand for this, and vote in more RINOs?

Don't count on it, because it won't happen.

If the Republican party wants liberalism, it can have it. I just won't vote for it any longer.

CONSERVATIVES MUST VOTE IN A WAY THAT MATTERS!!!!!

I find it incredulous these stupid short sighted so called Fred heads who say they are not going to vote. Politics is a game where a healthy dose of realism is demanded. Fred despite our efforts is done done done. I am a conservative first, Republican second, and Fred supporter third when it comes to politics. As a conservative I am, as a realist, going on to the next least worst. D@MN I hate the way that sounds but that is what conservatives must do when it comes to politics. We can't be put our heads in the sand fatalists. The Dems, HRC, Obama, MSM, McLame, worldy non-christian secularists are counting on us being fractured and demoralized. Fred is done. He was my first. I am now voting for Romney (wont be donating any $100 dollars though . . . that is for sure).

I wouldn't support any of these candidates either. None are complete Conservatives or even Conservative at all.

Andrew: Mormons cannot be compared to Branch Davidians! Mormons are a mainstream religion. Stop listening to the Baptist establishment who are mad that Mormons have been able to convince a large number of their members to convert. Mormons are law abiding, patriotic and productive members of society, not to mention a huge voting block in the GOP. Did Romney push his religion in MA as Governor? Does Harry Reid (a Mormon) push his religion as Senate Leader? Did Orin Hatch, another Senator? We need to stop all the Mormon bashing now!

Would not vote ever for McCain or the Huckster be hard pressed for any of them really but Fred won't quit yet. Why should he? He is the only conservative we have. The rest are wannabes.

Forgot one choice. None the above. Will instead focus on House/Senate seats and local elections. Conservatism does not really exist at the federal level anymore. Have to start from the ground up. All over again.
