From Greg on January 23, 2008 at 3:04 pm. IP Logged, 67.60.106.x Report Abuse I would never vote for McCain. It would be better to have Hillary or Obama 4 to 8 years than let the party drift further to the left under that clown. From Greg on January 23, 2008 at 3:01 pm. IP Logged, 67.60.106.x Report Abuse Why did you leave off Ron Paul? That is who I am voting for. From Christian on January 23, 2008 at 2:40 pm. IP Logged, 159.153.129.x Report Abuse Why are there so many stupid conservatives out there who don't realize how conservative McCain is? Oh, right, he's not a toady or a lackey for the Republican party, and he has friends on the other side of the aisle, that must make him a liberal, right? If conservatives were smart, they'd realize that McCain is a conservative who is actually LIKED by moderates, and thus stands a really good chance of winning. Of course, there's also a good chance he'll die of old age before his four years are up, but that's a different issue. From studibaker in reply to Christian on January 28, 2008 at 8:44 pm. IP Logged, 75.128.155.x Report Abuse Where is Ron Paul in this poll? It's ridiculous that he isn't included. ALL candidates should be included. This is a biased poll and I discount its integrity. Ron Paul is an ardent supporter of the Constitution. He has never voted to raise taxes, never voted for an unbalanced budget, never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership, never voted to raise congressional pay (that would be HIS pay, as he is a Congressman for the state of Texas). He voted against the Patriot Act (this act reduces Americans liberties), voted against the war in Iraq, and has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch of government. He wants to bring home our troops-right away, stimulate our economy, increase the value of our dollar, decrease the ridiculous amount of governmental spending, and reduce our taxes and he has a plan to make it happen. Dr. Paul has consistently voted to lower or abolish federal taxes, spending and regulation, and has used his House seat to actively promote the return of government to its proper constitutional levels. He presently serves on the House Committee on Financial Services and the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, so when you hear him speak, you know he is telling the truth about what is happening in our government. He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program (the one that you and I pay with our taxes) and he returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year. Talk about integrity! I urge you to look at Ron Paul with fresh eyes and see who is the real conservative candidate for CHANGE. www.ronpaul2008.com From Rob in reply to Kristi Sweeney on January 23, 2008 at 12:37 pm. From BillyBob on January 23, 2008 at 12:27 am. IP Logged, 24.2.94.x Report Abuse I can't believe you would through away your vote! Thompson is gone (did you really think he would pull it off?) He is a good man - probably the best of the lot, but he is gone and you need to think about this. Huckabee won't make it past Feb 5th. If you really want a conservative... or even a moderate - Mitt is your only guy. But hey if you want to through your vote to liberal - go ahead. Page: 1 2 3 4 5 6 ...
