What, just because he doesn't act like a Republican part lackey or toady, and because he has friends on the other side of the aisle, he must be a liberal? McCain is a conservative with that most valuable of qualities - he's well liked by moderates, and even respected by liberals. I guess that's enough for some conservatives to convince themselves that he must not be one of them. Too bad people don't actually look at his overall voting record.
