Report Abuse: For Fred Supporters: If Fred Thompson drops out of the race, which major candidate would you support?

As a Fredhead I must say that I'm very depressed. I just donated $200 to his campaign last week

Fred came out so strongly against Romney, McCain, Huckabee, and Giuliani. In good faith I can't get behind any of them. I'll probably end up going Dem or looking a little closer at Ron Paul during the MSNBC debate this Thursday.

I hope that Fred's mom is doing OK-- I understand if family issues are behind this.

I've been a conservative republican all of my life and I feel completely lost. I could never back Romney.
