Report Abuse: For Fred Supporters: If Fred Thompson drops out of the race, which major candidate would you support?

I am a dyed-in-the-wool, across the board conservative. I love Fred. Sadly he just doesn't have what the Republican base is looking for. Should he drop out, I move my support to Mitt Romney because of many factors but the main ones being that two of his remaining opponents are liberals (Huckabee and Rudy) and one has spent the better part of the last 8 years treating the base like we were his personal commode (McCain) ah, that leaves Ron Paul. I agree with almost 100% of his domestic policy, it's his foreign policy that is naive, dangerous and will get a heck of a lot of Americans killed.
