| "For Fred Supporters: If Fred Thompson drops out of the race, which major candidate would you support?" | |
From Kaitian in reply to retro on January 21, 2008 at 11:47 am. Romney has never done the "I'll be whatever the media has want me to be today" at all period. His actions in Massachusetts contradicts what he has stated in the running for the Senator of Massachusetts and Governorship of Massachusetts. The 50 dollar abortion thing that has been slandered that Romney supposedly implemented when the health commission of the Massachusetts Commonwealth decided. The big number of liberal judges that Romney appointed in front of 8 out of 9 Democrat judges, etc etc. All of his actions were extremely reduced and he did what he could by conservative policies. Running against a hugely Democrat-dominated Commonwealth as a Republican makes the job much difficult than that of the President of the United States today. President Bush can easily veto laws without worrying much about veto-overrides because he knows he has enough allies in the Congress to prevent that from happening. And you've been assuming how long I've been voting for so nice try, retro. There is compromise in politics all the time and you do what the best of your ability you can. By the way, prove to me that Romney has acted what the media wants him to be. Newsbusters.org would have a big talk with you over that. Stay home, go ahead, you'll be one of the people responsible for tearing down what left of conservatism is today and walk us towards a nanny state of the Democrat Party. Thank you and to hell with you.
