What the hell is wrong with you Fredheads? Staying at home and refusing to vote in the election or writing in Fred's name when he declared his intention he's not running for President anymore?

Romney right now is just the best chance we have at maintaining conservativism. I've seen people constantly bash Romney on one or another issue but goddamn it people. You decide on one issue that supposedly affects your entire decision but refuse to care about other issues than that..

I'm a registered Republican and will always support a Republican in the White House over a Democrat unless it was some moron like Huckabee that had the ticket. I've always decided my votes over multiple issues, not single-issues as most of the people on this poll seem to indicate they are.

Abortion is one of the least conservative issues today and you need to stop b###hing about that people. It won't change and will not change for a long time to come. Drop it people. Foreign policy, economic policy, military policy, etc etc. Romney has demonstrated he has the capability to do those issues. Yes, Fred Thompson's a great person to manage those issues but right now, he does not seem to be electable.

The country has become more and more moderate and we have to get as close to conservatism and electability as we can. Romney or Guiliani rates high on this.
