IP Logged, 68.254.162.x Report Abuse Based on what I observed in my state during the primaries, I believe there is a problem with fair and honest elections. Utility bills and personal 'vouching' are not a substitute for government issued IDs to register. Giving only your name to vote, does not lead to better elections. The people are being hurt with all of the spending proposed. I am furious about so much, but giving tax money to Acorn and taking away tax deductions for charity giving is just sooooooo wrong!! While one of the main goals should be fiscal hawks we should also elect officials that are truly conservative in all their values and goals. We must remember that conservative values and goals are not only fiscal but extend to many other areas as well. I would love to say more but time and space do not permit it. (2) A new contract for America would help, it would include steps to clean up the corruption in the government and in the markets, busting up the broken big school systems into smaller units, and many more items long overdue. (3) How to educate the electorate that the government is not Santa, and why it is really, really bad to try to make it so.
