Dear Mr Wadsworth

The NHS should not charge, however they should recommend private practices to patients who wish to pay, as my GP did for a minor hernia operation - 3 months minimum wait on the NHS which would have been at an inconvenient time, against a choice of 3 dates over the following 5 weeks, which covered the Christmas/New Year period.

Providing the NHS do not get a commission, this would eliminate the incentive to make waiting times longer.
